The Global Deal partnership for decent work and inclusive growth has been selected as one of the projects to be showcased during the 4th edition of the Paris Peace Forum starting on 11 November 2021.

The Paris Peace Forum is an annual meeting for global governance actors to promote international cooperation in order to tackle global challenges and ensure endurable peace. Heads of state and government, CEOs of major multinationals, as well as civil society actors, will gather to advance concrete solutions to the challenges the world faces: climate change and resource scarcity, power rivalries, administration of global public goods, abuses of power and inequalities, intergenerational bridges and gender equality. The first three editions of the Paris Peace Forum gathered 25,000 participants, 48 leaders of international organizations, 125 heads of government and 500 companies.

Since its creation, the Forum has selected and supported numerous projects that respond to the cross-border challenges of our time. This year, the Forum will showcase 80 projects that have been chosen based on their potential contribution to the Forum’s goals and their quality.

The Global Deal partnership will be presented under the theme mitigating the socio-economic impact of the crisis to highlight the key role social dialogue has played since the start of the pandemic in protecting jobs, creating safer workplaces, and ensuring that economic recovery benefits everyone.
