New course: The 2030 Agenda, Decent Work and Social Dialogue

March 2023

The Global Deal is pleased to announce the launch of a new online course on "The 2030 Agenda, Decent Work and Social Dialogue", a training tool developed by the Global Deal in partnership with the International Training Centre of the ILO (ITCILO).

Social dialogue plays a crucial role for accelerating actions on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 8 on decent work and economic growth. This 2.5 hours self-guided course explains how to advance the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development through decent work and social dialogue, including by showcasing good practices by Global Deal partners and other actors.

The course is composed of three modules for use by representatives from governments, employers’ and workers’ organisations, Global Deal partners, as well as development practitioners and anyone interested in understanding better social dialogue and its contribution to the 2030 Agenda.

The course is available in three languages (English, French and Spanish) and it is free of charge. Participants who complete it will be awarded an ITCILO Certificate of Participation as a recognition of their accomplishment.
