The Global Deal, in cooperation with Open Society Foundations, organised a virtual high-level conference in the afternoon of the 6th and 7th April 2022 on the critical role of essential workers in supporting economies, societies and businesses.
The event brought together global policy makers, business leaders and essential worker representatives to discuss practical changes to improve the working lives of both formal and informal essential workers and address longstanding inequalities in the world of work.
