The Colombian Ministry of Labour will host the second edition of the Latin America Regional Event on the Global Deal on 25 and 26 November. Global Deal partners as well as the general public are welcome to participate virtually and may register by using this link.
The event will focus on the value of social dialogue as a mechanism for discussion and agreement among representatives of governments, employers and workers. The government aims to further reinforce the right of association as well as collective bargaining as a means to support social dialogue.
The event will serve as a platform to share and discuss experiences and good practices on social dialogue across Latin America. It will gather representatives from governments, trade unions, employers’ organisations and businesses.
