  • Overcoming barriers to social dialogue in global supply chains - 18 May 2021, 14:30-16:00 (CET).

In a global economy characterised by complex and highly competitive supply chains, social dialogue can be difficult to achieve, yet offers an opportunity to find “win-win-win” solutions, since it can help deliver better working conditions, inclusive growth, stable industrial relations and shared approaches to business challenges. This webinar will identify obstacles to social dialogue and practical ways of overcoming them, and will present findings from a collaboration between Global Deal partner Fair Wear Foundation and Cornell University’s New Conversations Project on “Social Dialogue in the 21st Century”. You can view the agenda here, and click here to sign up.

  • Promoting a gender-responsive recovery through social dialogue - 1 June 2021, 14:30-16:00 (CET).

The Global Deal brief on social dialogue for gender equality demonstrates that women have been disproportionately impacted by the economic and social fallouts of the COVID-19 crisis. In this webinar, speakers will present good practices to highlight the key contribution of social dialogue and sound industrial relations to promoting a gender-responsive recovery from the pandemic. • Social dialogue: A key pillar of due diligence - 22 June 2021, 14:30-16:00 (CET).

This webinar will explore how stakeholder engagement in the form of social dialogue can play a key role in supporting businesses to implement effective due diligence.
