All Global Deal partners to meet in Geneva
Geneva, Switzerland, 23 November 2017 – for the very first time, representatives from all partners to the Global Deal will gather for a joint meeting. During a full day, partners will share experiences and best practices within the scope of the Global Deal to see what has been achieved during the initial year. The meeting marks an important milestone for the partnership and aims not only to look back on progress made, but to agree on the strategic way forward for the multi-stakeholder partnership – also in light of the 2030 Agenda.

High-level seminar on Global Deal and trade
Geneva, Switzerland, 22 November 2017 – Sweden’s Prime Minister Stefan Löfven will host a high-level seminar with the participation of WTO Director-General Roberto Azevêdo and ILO Director-General Guy Ryder. Other leading speakers representing academia, business, trade unions and other organisations will also take part. The aim of the seminar is to explore how the Global Deal and enhanced social dialogue can play a role in trade policy and how the benefits of trade can be better shared.
