On 9 November 2018, Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven met Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), to formally hand over the Global Deal initiative.
The Global Deal is one out of 120 projects that will be showcased during the Paris Peace Forum 11-13 November under the theme Inclusive Economy. The Paris Peace Forum is a new annual meeting for global governance actors based on the idea that international cooperation is key to tackling global challenges and ensuring endurable peace.
